Deputy Superintending Archaeological Chemist:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry plus three years experience in the use of Analytical Instruments or Methods of Analysis of Organic or Inorganic Materials from a recognized Scientific Institute or University OR
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry plus one year experience in the use of Analytical Instruments or Methods of Analysis of Organic or Inorganic Materials from a recognized Scientific Institute or University.
Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) Armament (Instruments):
- Master Degree in Science in Physics/ Electronics/ Physics (with Electronics) from a
recognized University Or - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in one of the disciplines viz. Mechanical, Electronics, Electronics and Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science, Instrumentation and Control from a recognized University or Institute.
- Experience: 02 years practical experience
Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) (Small Arms):
- Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University Or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical from a recognized University/Institute
- Experience: 02 years practical experience
Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) Stores (Chemistry):

Pay Scale Details:
- Chief Design Engineer: Level-13 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
- Deputy Superintending Archaeological Chemist/Assistant Director: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
- Assistant Engineer: Level-7 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
- Assistant Veterinary Officer: Rs.15,600-39,100 plus GP 5400
- Assistant Employment Officer: Level-6 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
- Deputy Director: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Selection Process:
- Selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by Interview.
- In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an interview, the candidate will have to achieve a minimum level of suitability in their respective category at the interview stage.
Minimum Qualifying Marks for Interview out of 100 marks:
- UR/EWS Category – 50 marks
- OBC Category – 45 marks
- SC/ST/PH Category – 40 marks
