About WR Western Railways: Western Railway is one of the 17 Railway Zone by Indian Railways. The major railway routes of Indian Railways which come under Western Railways are Mumbai Central – Ratlam, Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad and Palanpur – Ahmedabad. It is divided into six operating divisions: Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Ratlam, and Mumbai. Vadodara railway station, being the junction point for the Ahmedabad – Mumbai route and the Mumbai – Ratlam route towards New Delhi, is the busiest junction Station in Western Railways and one of the busiest junctions of Indian Railways too, while Ahmedabad Division earns the highest revenue followed by Mumbai Division and Vadodara Division.

Educational Qualification:
- Matriculate or 10th Class in 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board.
- ITI certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT is compulsory in relevant trade
Relevant Trades – Fitter / Welder (G&E) / Turner / Machinist / Carpenter / Painter (General) / Mechanic / Programming & System Administration Assistant / Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Pipe Fitter / Wireman / Refridgerator / AC – Mechanic / Plumber / Draftsman (Civil) / Mechanic LT and Cable
Age Limit (as on 06.01.2020): 15 to 24 years.
Relaxations in Upper Age Limit:
